Kids go free?

We’ve all heard the term used, it’s become part of our every day language, and now here’s a site that brings it to the masses. A national community listings tool that enables people to tap in their postcode and find a huge amount of suggestions for things to do in their area or, if they fancy, anywhere across the country – from the very smallest local event – like a 1st birthday party someone’s throwing (we’ve referred to these kind of things as ‘Little League’), to the newest arrival at one of the UK’s top safari parks (the bigger boys we’ve called ‘Major Players’). The options are endless, given the way in which the site works.

And how is that?

Well, that’s partly where you come in! Ahead of our official launch in April 06’ we’d like to ask you to spread the word so that people everywhere will start to load their own listings into the ‘Little League’ section of the site. This is when it’ll start to get really interesting, as together you’ll be able to create a fantastic community website that will include everything from events taking place (church fetes, school activities, street parties, etc, etc), finding a recommended childminder or nursery, even matchmaking single parents! Plus things like a forum to discuss hot topics, a network for people looking for family support services and buying, selling and swapping stuff too.

Sound good?

Can you imagine how brilliant this will be for our communities? How often do we hear that children are bored because there’s nothing to do but watch the TV? Just think, you could be responsible for turning local areas into buzzing communities of get-up-and-goers! We’re very excited at that prospect and hope that you too can see the amazing potential this site will create for parents and kids everywhere, plus, of course, it’s free.

So what now?

We’re really hoping that once you’ve checked out the site and like what you see you’ll take the time to tell your colleagues, family, gym instructor, headmaster and greengrocer all about kidsgofree, so that you and individuals everywhere will start loading listings into the ‘Little League’ section of the site. It will cost you absolutely nothing to do so, but the rewards will be priceless!
